Wausa Public Schools are getting ready for all their homecoming festivities.
Dress up days for the week were, Monday-Holiday, Tuesday-Twin/Triplet, Wednesday-Movie Character, Thursday-Through The years (7-8 grade: Babies, 9-10 grade: Tweens,11-12 grade: Senior Citizens) and Friday-Purple and Gold Day.
Homecoming candidates and attendants are:
Crown Bearers: Emmie Brazel and Remington Backstrom
Freshman Attendants: Destiny Fox and Drew Munter
Sophomore Attendants: Clare Lundberg and Alex Kleinschmit
Junior Attendants: Ashlynn Davies and Dawson Wamberg
Queen Candidates: Ashton Hulsebus, Tara Munter, Elena Rosberg, Claire Vanness
King Candidates: Brice Barney, Austin Gillilan, Aidan Kleinschmit, Ryan Kumm
Masters of Ceremonies: Blake Bloomquist and Travis Gillilan
There will be a pep rally at 12:30 Friday, September 25.
Following the pep rally, the junior high will decorate the lunch room for the dance and the high school will get their floats ready.
The parade will start at 3:00 Friday.
Tailgate Party serving from 6:00 through half time of game. Hamburger, chips, and a drink for $5.00.
The Homecoming football game will be Friday at 7 p.m. against Stuart.
