NV Cougars Avenge Earlier Loss, Defeat CWC Renegades

In NVC action postponed from Tuesday night, the NV Cougars avenged a loss to the CWC Renegades. They took the win Thursday night in Nelighby a score of 78-57.  The Cougars took an early 9-4 lead and never looked back as they played perhaps their best defensive game in several weeks.  

After one quarter NV led 21-10, and took a 48-25 lead into halftime.
 
Brady Pike was the leading scorer for the Cougars with 20 points.  Cade Kalkowski and Ricky Bickerstaff each add 15, Christian Swalley and Cauy Drobny chipped in 8 apiece, Nate Sandoz had 6, and Jace Fritz and Dillon Ives each added 3.

With the win, the Cougars advance to the semi-finals of NVC.  They will play Neligh-Oakdale at 2:45 on Friday at Elgin Pope John High School.
