Niobrara-Verdigre, Bloomfield/Wausa Compete in Invite

The Bloomfield/Wausa and Niobrara-Verdigre golf teams had strong showings Wednesday at the Niobrara Valley Golf Course.

Bloomfield/Wausa shot a team score of 362, led by Mitchell Mackeprang's 87. Mackeprang's score was good for sixth place in the invite.  Also earning medals for the team were Wilson Wagner, 88, and Aiden Kleinschmit, 92.

Niobrara-Verdigre came in just behind Bloomfield/Wausa with a team score of 409, led by Brandon Asmus's ninth place finish with a score of 88.  

Santee sent two golfers to the meet, including Jaylon LaPlante's 12th place finish with a score of 89.  Thomas Macias shot a 101 on the day.
