Niobrara Takes Several Awards At State One Act

Niobrara made the trip to Norfolk Wednesday for the state one-act competition and will be returning home with some honors.

Niobrara qualified for the state competition with their excellent rendition of "You Should Never Eat Your Heroes." They finished third of the six teams in the competition with 168 points.

The Niobrara technical crew took home an Outstanding Technichal Crew award. Nate Sandoz and Ashley Guenther each took home an Outstanding Actor and Actress Award, respectively.

Hyannis took the top overall team award with their performance of "Appleseed."
