Saturday, join the community of Niobrara for their Christmas Festival and Santa Claus Day.
The Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall will be hosting a pancake breakfast from 8 am to 10 am at the Fellowship Hall. Proceeds from the free will offering will be used to build a fund for a digital community sign. This event is sponsored by the Niobrara Promoters.
The Vendor Fair, sponsored by the Niobrara Historical Society, will be from 10 am until 3 pm. Over a dozen vendors will be gathered at the WFLA Hall for the day. There will be hourly drawings for "Santa Bucks" - certificates from Niobrara businesses worth more than $400. Register at local businesses or at the Vendor Fair. Prizes that are not picked up by 2 pm will be drawn for until they are gone.
The FBLA will be holding a food drive during the day with containers placed at the pancake breakfast, in the mall, and at the Vendor Fair. Non perishable food that is donated will all stay in Knox County.
Serving lunch at the VFW Club will be the Running Water 4-H Club. Soup and cinnamon rolls will be available for a free will donation.
The Rolling Thunder Car Club will be giving away 2 bicycles and 2 reading tablets as well as other educational items. Children must sign up at the craft fair, and must be present to win. The drawing will be at 2 pm.
Children's time will begin at the Niobrara Mall at 10 am. Santa will visit at 11 am. Be sure to bring your cameras.
