Yankton-based singer/songwriter/storyteller Michael F. McDonald will be at Niobrara State Park on Sunday, July 13.
Through original songs and stories, McDonald will lead a lively celebration of the challenges and adventures faced by the members of Lewis and Clark’s Corps of Discovery during his program.
The event will be at 6 p.m. and feature a Buffalo Cookout at the shelter.
McDonald hails from Yankton County, S.D., growing up on a couple of farms with six brothers and a sister. He is a Vietnam era veteran, a graduate of the University of South Dakota, and is retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He and his wife, Deb, are parents of three - grandparents of two - and live in Yankton.
