Law enforcement officials are in the midst of an active manhunt in Knox County. Dispatchers at the Knox County Sheriff’s office did not have many details to give, other than they currently have all of their units in Niobrara looking for an unidentified suspect. No details have been given as to their description or if there is a danger to the community. Knox County officials say that the Niobrara School District has been placed on lockdown. Knox County Sheriff’s officials and the State Patrol are involved in the search at this time. We will be updating this story as more info becomes available. |
