Police Investigating Reported Check And Card Fraud

A Knox County man has recently been the victim of fraud.

On December 16, a report was received from Hurshel Guest of rural Crofton that someone was taking money from his checking account.  After investigation it was determined that a person was using his check card and writing checks on a stolen check book. 

​A suspect has been identified and the investigation continues with the cooperation from the Cedar County Sheriff’s Office and Yankton Police Department.
