Fire Awareness Workshop Planned In Crofton On June 27

A Fire Awareness Workshop will be held on Friday, June 27, from 3-6 p.m., at the former Mama Mech's Restaurant on Main Street in Crofton.

The Nebraska State Forest Service will be presenting the event and hosting it along with the City of Crofton, the Crofton Fire Dept., Lewis & Clark NRD and Northeast RC&D.

It will educate people on good fire safety tactics to minimize fire hazards on their property, especially residents living along Lewis & Clark Lake.
