Crofton Volleyball To Play In District Finals Thursday

The Crofton Warriors took one step closer to making it to the State Tournament by winning the C-2 9 subdistrict Monday night in Wausa.  The Warriors won the first match against Plainview in three straight sets.
Up next would be Niobrara-Verdigre, who had beat Creighton earlier 3 sets to 1. 
Crofton won this match in three straight sets also.  Kelsey Sanger led the Warriors with 11 kills, 2 ace serves and 16 digs. Monica Arens added 9 kills in the match and Madison Johnson added 15 set assists.
Crofton moves to the C2-5 District finals on Thursday, November 5 at Norfolk Catholic High School. They will face Elgin Public/Pope John at 7 pm.
