Crofton Strands 10 Runners In State Tournament Loss

Crofton outhit Sutton on Sunday in an elimination game of the Class C Senior American Legion Tournament but couldn't bring enough runners home.

With 10 stranded runners, Crofton fell 8-4 and ended its season in Hebron. The team committed three errors. Hebron had just nine hits in the game, but brought home eight runs and left just three on base.  

Reid Stone recorded 13 strikeouts for the win while Devin Munter struck out five batters for Crofton.
