Crofton Nearly Shuts Out Wisner-Pilger In Season Opener

The Crofton Warriors rode the legs of running back Tanner Crosley all the way to a season-opening win Friday night in Crofton.

Crosley was responsible for three scores on the ground as the Warriors topped Wisner-Pilger 28-6.

Crosley scored on runs of 11 yards, nine yards and one yard to lead the Warriors. Grant Wragge scored the opening touchdown for Crofton taking a Jaden Janssen pass 58 yards to the house in the first quarter.

​The win sends Crofton into next week's game against Bancroft-Rosalie/Lyons Decatur Northeast with a 1-0 record.
