Crofton Named NSAA's Spirit Award Winner For March

Crofton was announced as the  Pump & Pantry School Spirit Award recipient for the month of March.

The School Spirit Award program features NSAA member schools sharing photos of their students and fans emphasizing positive support and excitement surrounding NSAA activities via social media.

Winning photos are selected monthly and may be featured throughout the year on the NSAA website, additional publications and at NSAA State Championships. As the March honoree, Crofton High School will also receive a $250 gas card provided by Pump & Pantry to support team and fan travel.

“As seen in our photos, we try to capture support and excitement for all of our activities. All of our kids are involved in ‘something’ and we make efforts to support each other in whatever we are competing in. Our students have also carried a tradition in creating themes to get into the spirit at district and State Championship events. We have a great group of kids that have a lot of fun cheering for our teams,” said Ann Kramer, Crofton Activities Director.

The seven photos that were submitted from Crofton illustrate the consistent and entertaining support for their program. The 2015-2016 school year marks the second year of the Pump & Pantry School Spirit Award program and has included over 100 NSAA member schools participating to date.
