The Crofton Warriors are one step closer to making a return trip to the state tournament after Monday night.
That's because they rolled through Laurel-Concord-Coleridge in straight sets at subdistricts, 25-13, 25-16, 25-11, to move on to a Tuesday night showdown with Hartington Cedar Catholic.
The Warriors were led by their strong senior class on the night. Mariah Sage and Kelsey Sanger put down 10 and nine kills, respectively while Monica Arens was credited with seven.
Sanger also recorded three aces on the night.
The Warriors will take on the Trojans on Tuesday, with the winner making a trip to the district finals on Thursday night.
