North Central Public Power District Youth Ambassadors

North Central Public Power District has exciting news!  
Out of the six students that NCPPD sent to the NREA Youth Energy Camp at Halsey in July, three students were finalists for the Ambassador program, Cadrien Livingston, Hannah Smith and Sarah Smith. All three will be eligible to attend next year’s camp for free as Junior Camp counselors. 


Hannah Smith and Sarah Smith were chosen by their peers as two of the top three and will represent North Central as Ambassadors for the 2015 NREA Youth Tour to Washington, DC., next June. Sarah said that they had to have 20 signatures before they could apply, they then gave a three minutes speech about themselves. 


Ten finalist were chosen, the three then had to pick a topic to write a five minute speech on which was presented at the final banquet. North Central is very proud of all the student’s participation at the camp. If you see Cadrein, Hannah or Sarah congratulate them on their accomplishments!!
