Tuesday was a big night for the Neligh-Oakdale volleyball squad. It was the final home game of the season, homecoming week, Parent's Night and pink out, all of which combined to draw a massive crowd for the Warrior's matchup with Creighton.
Unfortunately for Neligh-Oakdale, Creighton had other plans as they dropped the Warriors in three sets 25-15, 25-18, 25-22.
The Warriors struggled to put points on the board thanks in part to the great defense from Creighton, led by Makayla Brockhaus's 29 digs. Additionally, the Bulldog's offense gave Neligh-Oakdale problems on the strength of their serving, including Sydney Walton's six aces.
Statistics for Neligh-Oakdale were not available.
The Warriors now look to rebound when they hit the road to take on Ewing Thursday. Creighton - now on a seven game winning streak - looks to keep their hot streak alive next Tuesday when they host Crofton.
