The American Legion Post #74 and the VFW Post #1151 of Creighton will be presenting their Memorial Day Program Monday, May 25.  It will begin at 10 am in the Creighton Community School Gymnasium.
The CHS band will begin with the "Armed Forces March," followed by Father Jeff Lorig with the invocation.  Drew Nelson will then have the welcome, and the audience will be asked to participate in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Pastor Kip Tyler will deliver the morning's address with musical selections from the CHS band and Creighton Community Chorus to follow.  After the benediction by Father Jeff, and the Grand Finale of "God Bless America" the colors will be retired.  The audience is asked to participate in singing and is asked to remain standing until the military personnel has left the gymnasium. The service will then be continued at Greenwood Cemetery.
Esther Svitak, VFW Auxiliary President will welcome all to the cemetery, and Herbert and Loretta Wagner will place the wreaths.
Stan Shelton will say the prayer.  After the rifle salute by the firing squad, the program will conclude with Tanner Homan playing Taps.
