Creighton Juniors Fall In Second Round At State Tourney

Creighton fell to Arlington in the second round of the Class C Junior State American Legion Baseball Tournament on Sunday night.

Arlington picked up a 5-1 win to advance, while Creighton dropped into the loser's bracket and will face Greeley PWG at 5 p.m. on Monday.

Arlington held onto a 2-1 lead after six innings, but three runs in the seventh sealed the win. Arlington finished the game with 12 hits and no errors. Creighton had three hits and four errors on the night.
