Creighton Juniors Down Irish To Win League Championship

After dropping three games to the O'Neill Pinnacle Bank Irish Juniors, Creighton got revenge in the best way.

Creighton downed O'Neill 8-3 Tuesday night to win the Elkhorn Valley Juniors League Championship.

Creighton jumped out to an early lead, scoring two in the first. They added another in the third before O'Neill was able to score their first two runs of the game. Creighton added three more runs in the fifth and one in both the sixth and seventh to secure the league title. 

Creighton's pitching and defense was fantastic on the night, allowing just four hits on the evening.
