The Creighton golf team completed day one at the Class D State Golf Meet in North Platte Tuesday.
After one day of action on the links, the Bulldogs finished second in the team standings with a team score of 58 strokes over par for the round.
Creighton had two golfers ranked among the top 20 at the end of the day, with Chase Largen in third and Cole Wetzler tied for 18. Brady Brockhaus finished just outside the top 20, shooting an 89 to tie for 21st place. Bryce Zimmerer finished tied for 26th with a 91 and Ryan Neumann was 66th after shooting a 101 on the day.
Aidan Kleinschmidt of Bloomfield represented Knox County at the Class C Meet in Kearney. After day one, he is tied for 47th with an 87 on the day.
Day two begins Wednesday for both Class C and D.
