Creighton Fire Dept. Responds To Mutual Aid Call By Royal

The Creighton Fire Department was one of six departments that responded to a fire on Friday afternoon northwest of Royal. 

The fire burned on several pieces of land owned by multiple landowners and even crossed the road.

Departments from Brunswick, Royal, Orchard, Neligh, Ewing and Creighton were all on scene. Firefighters remain on scene putting out hotspots. 

Orchard Fire Chief Duaine Risinger said the fire remains under investigation.  ​
