Creighton Boys CC Team Earns Runner Up At Neligh Meet

With three Bulldogs in the top 10, the Creighton cross country team ran away with the runner up plaque in Neligh on Monday afternoon.

Creighton varsity medalists were Garrison Hazen in 4th place with a time of 18:25, followed by Zac Hazen in 7th (18:59); and Colton Adams in 9th (19:04).

Earning medals in the junior high girls race were: 5. Kayla Pieper (10:35); 6. Jessica Stevens (10:41); and 10. Sierra Nielsen (11:30). Julius Tauber crossed the finish line in 8th place for the junior high boys (10:16).

Niobrara/Verdigre was the only other Knox County school competing at the Antelope Country Club. The boys team finished in 3rd place.

Cougar medalists were Dillon Ives in 5th place with a time of 18:33, followed by Aaron Pavelka in 13th (19:28); Masi LaPointe in 18th (20:07); and Issac Justo in 19th (20:22).
