The Creighton 12-and-under baseball went undefeated in the Quad County Tournament and took home the championship on Wednesday night in Neligh.
The team defeated Pierce Blue 13-10 in the championship. Brayen Zimmerers hit an inside-the-park homerun, scoring three runs in the game.
In the tournament, Creighton also defeated Albion A 17-0, Neligh 2-0 and Pierce Blue 16-6.
The team was coached by Dr. Brandon Essink, Joe Hanvey and Corey Curtis.
The 12-and-under team will be in action again this weekend at the Cornhusker State Games this weekend. If I think of anything else I will let ya know.
