Bulldogs Move to Next Round of Playoffs

The Creighton Bulldogs stay undefeated with a record at10-0. 

They won the second round of playoffs on Wednesday, November 5 against Neligh-Oakdale. The final score was 50-35.

Creighton was behind for the first time this season, 14-0, when Colton Boelter called his own number and took it 71 yards with just 1:39 left in the quarter. He threw to Beau Schindler for the extra two points and the quarter ended with the Warriors still ahead 14-8.

A holding penalty on Creighton put the ball one and a-half yards from the goal line and Allemang took it across for the extra points, tying the score at 22-22. The score at half-time was 30-22 with Creighton in the lead.

As top seed on the east bracket, the Bulldogs will host Elm Creek (9-1) for the quarterfinal game next Tuesday, November 11. The game will start at 4 p.m.
