Bulldogs Fall In Heartbreaker To Wolfpack Monday Night

It was not the ending the Bulldogs expected.

After falling behind 22-11 at halftime, Creighton battled back to take the lead with two minutes remaining in the third quarter. They then traded blows with Elgin Public/Pope John for the remainder of the game, eventually taking a 40-39 lead with just a few ticks left on the clock.

Unfortunately for the Bulldogs, the Wolfpack broke free down the court and hit a lay up with just five seconds left to send them back to Creighton with a 41-40 loss.

Earlier in the night, the Lady Bulldogs struggled to find their rhythm, falling to the Wolfpack 67-22. The only quarter that the Wolfpack allowed more than four points was the third quarter, in which the Bulldogs scored 12.
