Armed Forced Honored At Creighton Veterans Program

Creighton Community Schools hosted the 2015 Veterans Day program on Wednesday morning in the school gymnasium.

Keynote speaker was Tanner Homan, a UNL student in the Air Force Reserved Officer Training Corps.

The master of ceremonies was Tim Gragert. Student Body President Brandon Borgmann led the Pledge of Allegiance. 

The junior high and high school band performed the “Armed Forces on Parade” during the posting and retiring of the colors as well as the National Anthem.  Makayla Rohrer played "Taps."

Creighton Veterans of Foreign Wars post, American Legion post and their auxiliaries also participated in the program.​

Voice of Democracy winner Brook Baller (senior) and runner-up Makayla Brockhaus (junior) delivered their speeches.
