'Tis the Season for Bloomfield to Decorate Trees

The Annual Community Tree Decorating will be hosted by the Robert Jessen-David Meirose V.F.W. Auxiliary Post 4996.

According to Andrea Abbenhaus, “All Bloomfield organizations and various community groups are invited to bring a Christmas tree to decorate this holiday season.”

“Trees will be displayed at the Bloomfield Community Center, and the community is invited to ‘vote’ for their favorite trees by leaving canned goods under the trees,” said Abbenhaus.

Organizations and community groups must provide their own tree and decorations. NO REAL TREES. Please place a container by your tree to collect canned good donations. All canned goods will be collected and donated to the Bloomfield Food Pantry.
         
Trees should be placed along the outside walls in the community center, with decorating available between November 25th and December 1st. The trees should be left up through the New Year, but can be taken down January 2nd through January 6th.
