![]() By Kathy Sonnenfelt [email protected] Sophie Jindra of Bloomfield, is the 21 year old daughter of Sherrie and Tom Smith, and Ivan Jindra all of Bloomfield. Jindra was born with Down Syndrome, and has a love for making tied blankets, and has decided to turn her passion into income. By working very hard, she has prepared several tied blankets to choose from and would like to sell them as a gift for the holidays. What better way to stay warm, both inside and out, this holiday season then the gift of giving. You can get in touch with her by going to facebook and searching for Sophie’s Tied Creations, according to Jamie Johnson who works with her on a daily basis. Johnson is an independent provider for the State of Nebraska. Sherrie, Sophie’s mother said, “Their family would like to say how blessed and proud they are to have Jamie Johnson working with Sophie. Jamie has taken on a big responsibility, and has done a lot of training and information seeking to be able to help Sophie thrive and be the best she can be. They make a great team, and Jamie is continuing where Sophie left off after attending the Tower School in Wayne.” |
