Bloomfield, Nebraska Margaret “Peggy” Hupp Funeral services for Margaret “Peggy” Hupp, age 81, of Bloomfield, Nebraska will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Bloomfield. Reverend Deb Valentine will officiate, with burial in Bloomfield City Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Brockhaus Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements. Peggy died Thursday, October 26, 2017, at Good Samaritan Society in Bloomfield. Margaret Ann “Peggy” Hupp was born on June 30, 1936, to Lyle and Margaret (Feldman) Hupp in Bloomfield Nebraska. She grew up in Bloomfield, living there all of her life. She was baptized on November 15, 1936, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Bloomfield. She attended Sunday school at St. Marks and was confirmed on May 27, 1949, where she was a lifetime member. Peggy attended grade and high school in Bloomfield graduating in 1954. Peggy worked in the Bloomfield community all of her life. First, at the local telephone office as an operator for the company, she then worked at the KK Appliance Company, Wagner’s Clothing and later Jeskos, and eventually ran a daycare in her home for several years. Peggy served in her church St. Marks as a Sunday School teacher and was involved in the cradle roll for a very long time. She lived in her home until later years when she moved into Mainview Apartments. After moving to Sunset View Assisted Living she entered the Good Samaritan Center in Bloomfield where she resided for several years. Peggy enjoyed her life in Bloomfield, touching many lives over the years. Children and young adults were her pride and joy always visiting and sharing her life with them. She especially enjoyed the holidays getting together with friends and sharing her life with them all. She lived her last days at the Good Samaritan Center in Bloomfield. Peggy is survived by her special friends, Brad and Gayleen Lovejoy of Bloomfield; their daughters and their families, Tina, Dennis and Augustus Naslund of Coleridge, Nebraska and Sara Lovejoy, Brandon and Oliver Klinetobbe of Columbus, Nebraska; and many relatives and friends. Peggy was preceded in death by her grandparents; parents; and a special girl, Andrea True. Peggy’s survivors extend their thanks for your thoughts and kindness in sharing this day to remember her. |
