[email protected] The Bloomfield Elementary School students celebrated Red Ribbon Week November 6 – 10 by choosing to “Show Good Character by Being Drug Free,” according to the sixth grade student council members. For the week the elementary students dressed up each day including the following: Pajama Day on Monday; Blue & White Day on Tuesday to support the Bloomfield Bees; Wednesday was “Be-a-Jeanious Don’t Use Drugs” day, and students wore blue jeans; Thursday was Super Hero Day; and Friday students wore red in honor of Red Ribbon Week, and our Veteran’s. They also said, “Sheriff Don Henery visited the upper block of students, grade 4 through 6 with his K-9 unit, Joe and Vega”. Joe hid a toy for Vega to find and students found this very interesting. Also, “Jackie Freeman spoke to the lower block of students, Kindergarten through third grade”. |
