Making History: Bloomfield Qualifies For State One-Act

Bloomfield won the district one-act title Tuesday night to qualify for state one-act for the first time in school history.

Performing "Conflict," Bloomfield edged runner-up Allen by one point to claim the district title. Bloomfield received two first-place and one third-place finish from the judges.

Earning top actor awards were Braden Eisenhauer, Jordan Johnson, Ella McFarland, Daniel Bruegman, Hudson Barger and Tyreen Furagganan.

Lee Ann Runyon directed the performance with assistance from Kris Schmeckpeper.

Bloomfield will perform at state on Wednesday, Dec. 5, at Johnny Carson Theater in Norfolk.
