Four Bees Qualify For State Track Meet In Omaha

Bloomfield will be well represented at the state track and field meet in Omaha next weekend, with four Bees making the trip.

Travis Doerr took first place in the pole vault with an 11-06 jump to earn a spot. Joining him from the boys will be Cole Bruns, who took first in both the shot put and the discus to qualify.

For the girls, Amber Bruegman finished second in the pole vault to earn a spot. Bree Eisenhauer earned a spot in both the 1600 and 3200 with third and second place finishes, respectively. She will compete in the 1600 as a wildcard competitor.
