Female Life-Flighted After Accident Near Bloomfield

One person was air lifted on Saturday morning following a two-vehicle accident west of Bloomfield.

The accident occurred seven miles west of Bloomfield on Highway 84 around 9 a.m., according to officials. A female was transported by ambulance from the scene to the Knox County Fairgrounds, where a medical helicopter was waiting to air lift her to an unnamed hospital.

The conditions of those involved in the accident has not been released. 

No names have been released and no other information is available at this time.
