It is time once again to apply for the Bloomfield Community Schools Foundation Scholarship(s). Eligibility requirements are as follows: All graduates of Bloomfield High School as well as residents of the Bloomfield School District who are enrolled in any post high school educational job training program are eligible to apply for Bloomfield Schools Foundation Scholarship. An applicant need not be a BHS graduate to apply for a scholarship. A complete application consists of an application form and an official transcript (with raised seal) which includes grades from the most recently completed school term. Photocopies of official transcripts will not be accepted. Students are reminded that colleges will not release a transcript with a telephone request. You must appear personally and present ID or send a signed request for release of a transcript. The scholarship application is available on the City of Bloomfield website. Go to www.bloomfieldnebraska.com then click on the education tab and scroll down to “Foundations Scholarship Application.” Click that and it will bring up the application on Adobe Reader. The deadline for completed applications is February 15, 2018 and if mailed, must be postmarked no later than that date. Scholarship recipients are chosen by the Bloomfield Community Schools Foundation Board which consists of ten members representing the educational, professional, farming and business sectors of the community. |
