Bloomfield's running game has been unstoppable for nearly every opponent this season, and Wednesday's showdown with Lawrence-Nelson was no different.

The Bees totaled 406 yards on the ground to take down the Raiders 50-20 and advance to the third round of the Class D2 playoffs.

Bloomfield scored twice in the first, once on a Quentin Moles run and once on a Luke Fehringer scamper.

In the second, Lawrence-Nelson was finally able to answer, on a Colton Biltoft touchdown score. However, Moles quickly answered for Bloomfield on a five-yard score. The two teams traded scores once again before the half to give Bloomfield a 28-12 lead going into the break.

In the third, Fehringer and Moles each added yet another score to pull away before a Devin Johnson touchdown run sealed the game for the Bees.

Moles led the rushing attack, racking up 210 yards on 39 carries and three touchdowns. Fehringer added 133 yards and three scores of his own.

Fehringer also added two interceptions on defense to keep the Raiders at bay.

Bloomfield moves on to face Falls City Sacred Heart next Tuesday night.
