With fall sports coming to a close, it was time to honor all the student athletes and their achievements.

It is apparent Bloomfield is full of students who strive to be the best they can in academics, as well as extracurricular activities. Many academic all state awards where handed out, and this year’s Believers and Achievers Award recipients were chosen.

To receive the Believers and Achievers Award students must maintain a 3.75 GPA as well as show involvement in their school beyond participating in sports. The recipients must also show involvement in their community as well as write a citizenship essay. Carolyn Nagengast and Will Fehringer were awarded Believers and Achievers.

Carolyn Nagengast and Will Fehringer also received academic all state honors for one-act. Mrs. Runyon also announced Braden Eisenhauer as best actor, Ella McFarland as best actress, Will Fehringer as best supporting actor and Alexandra Eisenhauer as best supporting actress.

Andrew Hunhoff received academic all state in bowling.

Bree Eisenhauer received academic all state in cross country. Coach Wilken and assistant coach Jackie Freeman also presented many of their athletes with shirts for joining the 200 mile club.

Braden Eisenhauer and Mitchell Mackeprang both received academic all state honors for football.

Bloomfield senior offensive lineman Mitchell Mackeprang, senior receiver Trenton Holz, junior quarterback Braden Eisenhauer and senior linebacker Brantson Gieselman were also named to the all-district team. Honorable mention nods went to seniors Will Fehringer, Yuset Arellanes, Dylan Kauth and juniors Dade Davis and Logan Johnson.

Volleyball players Carolyn Nagengast and Brooklyn Eisenhauer received academic all state. Michaela Johnson was named all conference while Lauren Pinkelman and Brooklyn Eisenhauer were given honorable mention.

Finishing up the night was the National Honor Society inductees. New members included Tyson Sauser, Jaiden Johnson, Lauren Pinkelman, Ella McFarland and Kate Bruns.
