Bloomfield's streets were filled with holiday cheer Friday, as the elementary students made their way up and down the business district.
There was even a guest appearance by Santa and the Grinch as they accompanied the children around town.
Parents and on-lookers gathered around the streets to listen to the carols.
The students learned a plethera of Christmas songs for the event. Music teacher, Sheila Lange worked with the children to prepare them.
Tabitha Gilsdorf lead the inaugural caroling. The group started by the library made their way down Broadway and the highway with the help of a number of teachers.
The children made their way from business to business singing and handing out hand made cards, stopping every now and then to serenade workers and customers.
The students then went to sing for those at assisted living.
The first ever elementary caroling was a huge success as it was enjoyed by all.
