The Bloomfield Community Center will once again be host to many beautifully decorated Christmas trees this year. The Jessen-Meirose V.F.W. Auxiliary invites local businesses, organizations and groups to come decorate a tree.
This event is a great opportunity to not only advertise local businesses and groups in a fun, festive way but also acts as a community donation of perishable food items.
Businesses are encouraged to bring a tree and decorate in a festive way or in a way unique to their business. The Auxiliary also suggests placing a box or container in front of the tree to collect non perishable food items.
The decorating process will be between Nov. 24 and Nov. 30 and the trees will remain up till the New Year and are scheduled to be taken down by Jan. 5.
The Auxiliary and Community Center are excited to see all the trees but insist no one uses real trees.
The community is encouraged to visit and admire the trees as well as bring a perishable food item and place it in the box of their favorite tree.
