Bloomfield Appreciation Days will be going on this weekend with lots of events planned.
There is still a lot of fun going on today with a quilt show, road rally, color run, and a “One Man Band” tonight.
Saturday begins with alumni day and other activities. A quilt show, garage sales, mud volleyball, poker run, duck races, and Calcutta will all be a part of the celebrations. The Casey and Corie Band followed by mobile breakfast and grandpa Dan’s popcorn and beer garden will also follow downtown and on South Broadway.
The alumni banquet starts at 5 p.m. with a social hour followed by banquet at 6 p.m. in the Bloomfield high school community auditorium.
1-6 p.m.- Quilt show at Bloomfield community center in downtown Bloomfield
5 p.m.- Road rally at west entry of fairgrounds.
5 p.m.- Registration for youth wrestling club 5k color run at the fairgrounds. 5:30 p.m. start
9 p.m.-1 “One Man Band” Dave Merkel at the fairgrounds- Free admission
9 a.m.- 6 p.m.- Quilt show in the community center and city wide garage sales
8:45 a.m.- Mud volleyball registration at the city park. Volleyball games begin at 9
9 a.m.- Registration at Bottoms Up Bar for Kelly’s poker run- 10 a.m. start time
4 p.m.- Duck races at Carhart Lumber
7 p.m.- Duck races calcutta at downtown on north broadway
5:30-8:30 p.m.- Little Bees Daycare food fundraiser at downtown north broadway
8 p.m. to 1 a.m.- Casey and Corie band downtown north broadway
11:45 p.m.-1 a.m.- Country markets mobile breakfast at downtown north broadway, grandpa Dans popcorn and beer garden
