Bloomfield hosted the Lady Vikings after the original game was postponed due to weather.
The 9-10 Wausa girls got the game underway with Paige Nissen putting the opening points on the board. The Lady Vikings held the Bees to free throw points only through the first quarter. Wausa was able to rack up 13 by the end of the first.
The Queen Bees came out strong in the second to hold them scoreless for the first 5:00 minutes. Bloomfield gained ground on the Vikings with Michaela Johnson hitting a layup followed by free throws from Johnson and Emma Fiedler. Wausa's Elizabeth Johnson hit a last second shot to end the half.
Wausa took control upon returning to the court putting up nine points before the Brooklyn Eisenhauer was able to get the Bees going. Wausa stayed strong by adding to its lead to finish the third. The Lady Vikings held a commanding lead heading into the final quarter at 41-21.
The Bees were not ready to give up just yet. Michelle Wachter played a strong four minutes to accumulate 10 points to hold the girls within reach. Although Wausa continued to hold its ground, the Bees cut the Wausa lead in half. The Queen Bees come up short at 43-53.
Wausa will host Hartington-Newcastle on February 6 while Bloomfield will host its final regular season game against Allen on February 8.
