Christmas took on a mysterious tone Saturday with a fun case of “Who done it?” with the annual Murder Mystery night in Bloomfield.
The community club hosted the annual event at the Bloomfield Community Center Saturday night as a fund-raiser to benefit the local community.
Thee cast put on a murder mystery theatre during the evening meal. Acting was broken up between the meal courses as entertainment with each act providing additional details as to who committed the murder.
The show, “Countem Up,” featured an unruly sneaky staff. The company owner, Tommy, hired undercover private investigator Dick to investigate its staff and find the thief. In carrying out his tasks, he uncovers several flaws with Countem Up’s staff.
To Dick’s demise, he ends up dead. A gun is found and poisoned cookies are the possible
culprits in his death. In the final act, the cast requested help from the audience to uncover the murderer. Suspicions had been raised about each cast member and their involvement.
Each table was given an autopsy report and an answer form to come to a conclusion of Dick’s death.
