The Bloomfield FFA Chapter will be hosting their annual Appreciation Night/Labor Auction again this year. It is scheduled for the evening of March 15th at the Bloomfield School Auditorium.
They will be serving home made pies and ice cream again this year. Serving will begin around 6:30. All FFA supporters are encouraged to join whether they intend to purchase labor or not. The evening will continue with the annual labor auction. The auction will begin at 7:00 pm and will last about 1½ hours. Along with labor, pies, ice cream, some brats left over from fruit sales, and a few shop projects will also be sold.
For the sale order several sale bills are posted in businesses throughout the community. Proceeds from the auction go toward funding leadership workshops such as WLC, COLT, and N-Power. These workshops have become fairly expensive. This insures that all students have the opportunities to attend these workshops without worrying about if they can afford them. Whether you intend to purchase anything at the labor auction or not, please come join them for pie and ice cream. It is a way for them to say thanks for all of the support the public has given.
