Wausa Dominates Winside To Break Three-Year Losing Skid

For the first time since October 18, 2013, almost three years to the day, the Wausa Vikings are celebrating a win. 

The Vikings won big Friday night to give Chip Bartos his first win at the school, beating Winside 56-16.

Wausa jumped out to an 8-0 lead in the first quarter before a big second quarter gave them the lead for the game.

The Vikings put up 28 points in the second quarter while allowing just eight points from Winside. They added another 20 points in the third quarter to extend their lead to the 56-16 final score.

Wausa looks to build on their win when they host Allen for the final game of the season next week.
