Knust Sisters In Rodeo Competitions

Emily and Kelsey Knust of rural Verdigre had recent success in rodeo competitions.  
Emily qualified for the National High School Finals Rodeo.  She was the State champion in Goat Tying and the Reserve champion in Breakaway Roping.  Emily was also named Rookie of the Year and Reserve All Around Champion.
Kelsey spent the weekend in Casper Wyoming  at the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR) where she  competed in the Breakaway Roping. Kelsey qualified in the Central Rocky Mountain Region and is on the Laramie County Community College team from Cheyenne WY. The Central Rockie region includes western Nebraska , Wyoming and Colorado. The top 3 kids in each event from the 12 regions across the US competed at the Casper Event Center.
