10th Annual JAKES Day In Verdigre Saturday

Ten committee members of the Verdigre Creek Longbeards hosted the 10th annual JAKES Day in Verdigre on Saturday.  Several volunteers helped the members welcome 26 children to the activity-filled day. 
The children who came participated in bow shooting, turkey calling, shooting skeet, ATV safety, and also saw the Pearson Wildlife Museum Learning Center. Lunch was also served at this free event.
