The Crofton/Bloomfield wrestling team is holding a wrestling camp July 10 and 11.

Grades kindergarten through sixth start at 9 a.m. and end at noon, while junior high and high school grapplers go from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The camp is meant to be local, affordable, and beneficial to all area wrestlers, and we hope to make it fun as well,” stated C/B wrestling coach Caden Alexander.

Three current Husker wrestlers will also in attendance to help coach with Alexander and his staff during the two-day camp. Plainview’s Christian Miller, Columbus’ Colton Wolfe and New York native Jake Silverstein.

“We’re very excited about our camp clinicians,” Alexander noted. “We have Christian Miller, Colton Wolfe and Jake Silverstein. Miller and Wolfe both grew up in northeast Nebraska and all three are currently wrestling for the Huskers.”

While teaching fundamentals and technique, the camp will also have a takedown tournament on the football field - weather permitting.

Registration, and $40, can be sent to Caden Alexander at 55473 Oak Street, Crofton, NE 68730. Registrations must be postmarked by June 14.
