The Family Chain
If Love could have saved you,
You would not have died.
If tears could bring you back
You'd be by our side.

It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you did not go alone;
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.

God takes us one by one
And breaks the family chain
But somewhere in a better land
Our chain will link again
