Funeral Services For Terry Carlow

Funeral services for Terry Carlow, age 62, of Bloomfield, Nebraska will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 8, 2016, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Bloomfield. Pastor Deb Valentine will officiate, with burial in Bloomfield City Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Visitation will be Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the church.
Brockhaus Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
Terry died Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska, after a brief battle with cancer.
Terry was born April 26, 1954, in Bloomfield, Nebraska to Vernon and Marcella (Eisenhauer) Carlow. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. Terry graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1972. On April 7, 1979, Terry was united in marriage to Audrey Beckmann at Christ Lutheran Church in Bazile Mills. Two sons were born to this union, Sheldon and Brent.
Terry enjoyed many activities over his lifetime, such as baseball, softball, golf, bowling, and playing cards, but his biggest joy was riding his Harley trike.
Terry was a farmer most of his life, and was very successful in the expansion of the family farm. He had a passion for land development. Terry was also an auctioneer, real estate agent, and truck driver over the years.
Terry is survived by his wife Audrey of Bloomfield, Nebraska; sons, Dr. Sheldon Carlow of Lincoln, Nebraska and Brent Carlow of Wakefield, Nebraska; brothers, Leslie (Janelle) Carlow of Colonial Heights, Virginia, Michael (Chris) Carlow of Crofton, Nebraska, and Stanley (Kathy) Carlow of Firth, Nebraska; sister, Crystal (Terry) Nelson of Lincoln; brother-in-law, Dennis Novotny of Fremont, Nebraska; stepmother, Rachael Carlow of Bloomfield; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gary; sister, Virginia; parents-in-law, Alfred and Nellie Beckmann; and brother-in-law, David Beckmann.
