Funeral Services For Ronald Swanson

Funeral services for Ronald Swanson, age 90, of Wausa, Nebraska will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 20, 2016, at Thabor Lutheran Church. Reverend Ron Youngerman will officiate, with burial in Lutheran Cemetery in Wausa. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Ronald died Thursday, August 18, 2016, at Golden Living Center in Wausa.

Ronald Swanson, son of Gust E. and Annie (Nelson) Swanson, was born July 20, 1926, on a farm east of Wausa. In 1938, the family moved to a farm four miles west of Wausa. Ronald attended Wausa High School and graduated in 1944. He entered the United States Army in March of 1945, and served until October of 1946.             

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Leland; and one sister, Mildred Uldrikson and her husband Oscar.

Ronald is survived by one sister, Delores Kracht of Crofton, Nebraska; three brothers, Jerry, Dennis, and David Swanson all of Wausa; four nieces and nephews.
