Funeral Services For Patricia Thiele

Funeral services for Patricia Thiele, age 81, of Bloomfield, Nebraska, formerly of Bazile Mills, Nebraska, will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at Christ Lutheran Church in Bazile Mills, Nebraska. Pastor Terry Huber will officiate, with burial in Christ Lutheran Cemetery in Bazile Mills.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 27, 2017, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Brockhaus Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Nebraska.

Pat died Sunday, December 25, 2016, at Good Samaritan Society in Bloomfield, Nebraska.

Patricia Lea (Clarence) Thiele, was born in Bloomfield, Nebraska on March 17, 1935, to Howard and Marie (Luce) Clarence. Pat was baptized and confirmed at First Trinity Lutheran Church in Bloomfield. She attended school in Bloomfield and graduated in 1953. In May of 1957, Pat was united in marriage to George Thiele at First Trinity Lutheran Church. To this union four children were born: Bob, Bill, LaDonna, and Gayleen.

Pat was involved with the women’s auxiliary in Creighton, Senior Citizens, Ladies Aid at Christ Lutheran Church, and her card club. She also ran a daycare and helped raise many children. Pat enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed embroidering and crocheting, and made many homemade gifts that she shared with others.  Pat and George went to many dances in the area, as that was one of Pat’s favorite things to do. She spent the last years of her life at Sunset View Assisted Living and Good Samaritan Society in Bloomfield, where everyone took such good care of her.

Pat is survived by her children, Bob (Penny) Thiele, Bill (Konnie) Thiele, and Gayleen (Brad) Lovejoy all of Bloomfield, Nebraska and LaDonna Wesche of Verdigre, Nebraska; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one brother, Jim Clarence of York, Nebraska; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George; brother, Duane Clarence; sisters, Myra Ketelsen, Arlene Ketelsen, Corrine Eisenbeis, and Connie Kaster; and granddaughter, Andrea True.
